Rochelle Griffith

Her introduction into the arena of music began at age 11 when she entered the Richard Stoute Teen Talent competition where she placed third. Rochelle's talent for singing and song writing was encouraged and she took a step further by enrolling in the "Youth Achieving Results" an initiative of the Natural Cultural

Foundation, where Rochelle was a top vocal student.Rochelle has had the opportunity to tour with International recording artist Rupee, performed stints as a background vocalist for artists such as Jeffery Osbourne, Biggie Irie, Skinny Fabulous, Farmer Nappy, Anthony B, Lil Rick, Hypa Sounds, King Bubba, Gorg, Leadpipe & Saddis, Bunji Garlin Fayann Lyons , Edwin Yearwood and we could go on and on. Rochelle is also one of the most sought after backing vocalists in Barbados, she has worked with top producers such as The Red Boyz, Chris Alman, Peter Coppin, Dwaingerous, Steppa, Superlynks and Darien Bailey to name a few.

In 2010 Rochelle integrated all her accumulated knowledge from her experience in the music business and became a beginner's class vocal tutor., she then started working with the Natural Cultural Foundation(NCF) and Youth Affairs as a voice tutor and her business is called RG Beginners Voice, balancing this with her other music ventures, in October 2013 she left Barbados for six months to go on a cruise liner where she performed and entertained thousands of guests.

October 2014 Rochelle placed 2nd in the ALL FOR ONE CARIBBEAN SONG CONTEST. That same year Rochelle formed a duo called Classic SIlhouettes Duo, she also did an artiste name change and now goes by the name ROCHÉ (ro-shay). Since forming the duo, Rochelle has had the opportunity to travel and performed for people all over the world, these places include, Abu Dhabi, Africa, Bora Bora and the list goes on!
