Sunrokk

Sunrokk is a freestyle MC/entertainer/comedian from Barbados. A multiple time battle champion and core member of the Freestyle ensemble, "Mic Check", Sunrokk has rocked multiple stages across the island, alongside talents such as Adrian Green, DJ Simmons, Hal Linton and many more.

Known as "The Lyrical phenomenon", Sunrokk also hosted the "Hilton Open Mic Night" at Hilton Resorts, Barbados. A lover of Freestyle and Hip Hop and everything Bajan, he blends the genres with an effortless and engaging style. "I want everyone to enjoy my art. I want people to feel things through music...and I'll
show the world how Bimhop can do it".

An active name in the culture of Barbadian Hip Hop, the name Sunrokk is synonymous with rhymes and wordplay. By hosting Open Mic nights, he actively helps to give the young artists of his country a place to grow and be themselves, to tell their stories and rock the mic.

Since 2009 Sunrokk has been blessing mics and obliterating beats, across the board. Ever practising and amassing skills to his skillset. A veritable renaissance man of rhyme, rhythm, poetry and emotion. There is no other like him.
